Get The Bus All The Way To Muscat

Dubai residents can now take a luxury bus ride over to Muscat for just Dhs 55 one way and Dhs 90 for a return trip.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in partnership with Mwasalat, Oman’s national transport company, has launched three daily trips to Muscat.

A one way journey from Dubai to Muscat will take six hours, and the new luxury buses are equipped with free WiFi service, to keep passengers connected throughout the journey.

Three daily buses will start at 7.30 am, 3.30pm and 11pm, and tickets can be bought only over the counter. The option to buy tickets online or to make payment through Nol cards will be available at a later stage.

Passengers can catch the bus from three locations in Dubai, starting from Abu Hail Metro Station, Dubai Airport Terminal 2 and Rashidiya Metro Station and the bus will stop at eleven stops on the way to Muscat including Shinas, Sohar, Barka, Muscat Airport and Athiba Bus Stations in Muscat. The bus will stop at the same stations on return trip from Muscat.
