HH Sheikh Mohammed and India's Prime Minister Share Heartfelt Diwali Messages on Twitter

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai reached out to Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to wish him a happy Diwali. His tweet also addresses residents and those celebrating in the UAE, asking them to share celebrations on social media with #UAEDiwali.

HH Sheikh Mohammed’s tweet says: “
On behalf of the people of the UAE. I wish @narendramodi and all who are celebrating Diwali a happy and joyful festival. May the light of love and hope shine on us all. I encourage you to share your pictures of Diwali celebrations in the United Arab Emirates! #UAEDiwali”

Narendra Modi responded to the tweet saying:
"Thank you for the splendid Diwali wishes, Your Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Wishing you a Happy Diwali as well. Your personal commitment towards robust India-UAE relations adds great strength to our bilateral ties.”

HH Sheikh Mohammed tweeted in Hindi while Narendra Modi responded in Arabic, showing the utmost respect to each other’s cultures.
