Eid Al Adha Holidays Announced In These GCC Countries!

UAE’s neighbouring countries, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, have announced Eid Al Adha holiday dates. The holiday will begin on Friday, 17 August, and end on Saturday, 25 August.

While in both the countries, government employees are set for 9-day break, no confirmed holiday dates have been announced in the UAE as yet. However, according to the astrological calculations of an astronomer from the Sharjah Planetarium, Arafat Day (the day before Eid Al Adha) is likely to fall on Tuesday, 21 August, and therefore the first day of Eid Al Adha is anticipated to fall on Wednesday, 22 August. It is expected that UAE residents may have a long holiday during Eid Al Adha from 21-25 August.
