RTA's Warning To The Drivers!

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai sent a message to all UAE motorists urging them to follow all the traffic rules. Reckless driving like vehicles swerving on the road  will attract a hefty fine and confiscation of the vehicle. As per a recent report, Ramadan is often a time for increased road accidents.

Hence, RTA has issued a warning to all motorists that if they feel exhausted or drowsy at any given time, they should immediately stop driving. RTA also advises motorists to take full rest before driving. If any reckless driver causes danger to the life of others on the roads, they will be liable to pay a fine of Dhs 2,000, 23 black points and the confiscation of their vehicle for up to 60 days.
