A Starbucks employee was presented with a certificate of appreciation by Dubai Police to acknowledge his honest effort. Nepalese national, Miran Karaki, found an unattended bag of a tourist containing $118,000 in cash and passports, left at his work place in Mall of the Emirates. The man immediately informed police officials and handed the bag over to the Al Barsha Police Station.

Dubai police officials then traced the owner and returned the cash and passports to him. Meanwhile, senior officials highly appreciated the employee for his honesty and prompt action, and honoured him in a special ceremony at his work place on Tuesday.

Colonel Mohammed Aqeel Ahli, Dubai Police Deputy Director of the General Department of Investigation hopes that such examples would encourage others to lead a life of honesty and good conduct.
