His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has ordered the release of 935 prisoners. The kind gesture has been shown on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The prisoners who have been given relief were sentenced to jail terms for variety of offences. The gesture is part of President Sheikh Khalifa's attempt to provide prisoners an opportunity to start a fresh new life and lessen their families hardships.
