Emirates Airline has banned all flights to Bali

Following the eruption of Mount Agung volcano in Bali, all international airlines have banned inward flights to the Indonesian island.

Emirates Airline is included in the call to action by suspending all their flights to Bali "until further notice" as Bali’s international airport

The eruption prompted authorities to evacuate 100,000 people and closed down the airport in one of the most popular tourist destinations in Asia.

Passengers in transit currently in Dubai have been offered alternative options.

"Transit passengers bound for Bali/Denpasar who are currently in Dubai International Airport will be given the option to travel to the nearest destination CGK/Jakarta Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, or to their original point of departure if they so choose," Emirates said.
