The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is adjusting Metro and Tram timings to cater to early commuters. The new timings will be at least half an hour earlier, with the new schedule in place from 1 November.
The services on the Red Line will start at 5 am rather than its usual 5.30 am, while the Green Line services will start at 5.30am instead of 5.50 am. The Dubai Tram services will start at 6 am instead of 6.30 am. 1 November is also Public Transport Day.

The move is intended to improve the services on public transport and cater to the needs of commuters whilst encouraging people to use public transport rather than causing congestion on the roads.
