There's a second night beach coming to the city

Umm Suqeim’s night swimming beach was inaugurated in May and since then the Environment Department at Dubai Municipality has noticed the increase in use of the public facility, especially by Arab families.

This has led to the expansion of the project to Mamzar Beach. Located on Deira side, the beach will be fitted with a large illuminated pole that will allow swimmers and lifeguards to see for more than 100 metres at night. In addition, there will be a rescue station equipped with rescue gear as well as beach and water rescue bikes. A qualified crew of rescuers will be guarding the beach during the night hours.

Note: swimming at night is prohibited on all public beaches in Dubai except the Umm Suqeim one which is designed for this purpose.
