The Eid celebrations will last for three days, giving residents a three-day break from work.
The Islamic month of Dhu Al Hijja 1438 will start on Wednesday 23rd August, which means that Arafat Waqfa Day will fall on Thursday 31st August. Arafat Day takes places on the ninth of the month.
In the Islamic lunar calendar, Eid Al Adha takes place on the 10th day of the 12th month.
