Taxi hailing service Uber said it would conduct trial runs of flying vehicles in time for Expo 2020. Uber has chosen Dubai and Dallas to develop its Uber Elevate Network of electric, vertical take-off and landing vehicles. The company is working with RTA Dubai to study the demand and get a better understanding of pricing and the network required. Property companies, aircraft makers, and electric charger manufacturers have been recruited by Uber to look at the project. RTA Dubai will design and identify usable take-off and landing locations around the city.
