Abu Dhabi Sets Guinness World Record For Largest Agriculture Lesson

Once again, the UAE has achieved an impressive feat! The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has secured a Guinness World Record for organising the largest agriculture lesson globally. Held at Gracia Farm in Al Bahia, the event saw over 290 participants, consisting of hotel staff, students, organic farming practitioners, and experienced farmers coming together for this incredible achievement.

Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri, Head of International Affairs Office at the Presidential Court, conveyed a video message to the attendees of the event, with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the Abu Dhabi Agricultural Club, gracing the occasion. His Excellency Saeed Al Dhaheri, Director of Al Ain and Al Dhafra Regional Development Department at DCT Abu Dhabi, officially launched the event.

In the presence of Guinness World Record officials, the initiative by DCT Abu Dhabi delved into eco-friendly farming methods, covering cutting-edge technology and innovative irrigation systems suitable for Abu Dhabi's climate. The event included engaging discussions, hands-on workshops, and interactive demonstrations, empowering participants with knowledge to actively contribute to a greener future for the emirate.
