Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has started using AI technology to oversee and assess the performance of drivers and various vehicles in its fleet, such as taxis, limousines, school buses, commercial buses, and motorcycles. Using AI technology, DTC will be monitoring and tracking 7,200 vehicles. The control centre monitors and tracks the performance of 14,500 drivers.

The centre supports senior management in making quick and effective decisions. It observes drivers' conduct and ensures their adherence to vehicle monitoring guidelines for a fleet that includes 400 limousines, 1,000 commercial buses, and 600 delivery motorbikes. Additionally, the centre monitors vehicle routes to ensure the safety of transportation operations.

Furthermore, this innovative AI technology will assist authorities in supervising 1,000 school buses, thus enhancing the safety of students and ensuring punctual arrivals at schools and residences. Monitoring the buses includes tracking trip progress, overseeing student information, assessing driver behaviour, and providing prompt alert services when required.

DTC is actively working to expand its automated processes, employ big data analysis, and leverage smart systems to deliver high-quality transportation services that meet international standards. Their goal is to efficiently oversee the transportation system and ensure the safety of all passengers.
