Dubai Police

The future has arrived, and Dubai is making remarkable strides into it. With each passing day, the emirate is embracing futuristic innovations, ranging from flying taxis to autonomous patrols. The latest addition to this forward-looking landscape is Dubai Police's unveiling of their inaugural futuristic virtual office, named 'Amna'. This virtual officer has garnered considerable interest from attendees at the GITEX Global Technology Exhibition 2023 hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Amna, holding the rank of First Lieutenant, is accessible through the Dubai Police website, where she handles public queries regarding various police services, including tasks like fine payments and incident reporting. Amna functions as software driven by artificial intelligence technologies, processing user transactions through voice commands. Remarkably, she is proficient in both Arabic and English, catering to a diverse range of users.

Ms. Khadija Flamurzi from the General Department of Artificial Intelligence mentioned that this feature was realised through the collaborative efforts of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence and other departments aiming to transition all their public services to voice-command interfaces.
