"No dream is too big, and no dreamer is too small." Tia Watson and her brother Rio Watson prove this and how. On 25 March, Tia, 16 and Rio, 19, attempted a Guinness World Record together, for the "Fastest time to complete an Olympic distance triathlon whilst carrying a person." And they did it! They are now the official Guinness World Record holders.

To secure the Guinness World Record title, Tia swam 1.5km while pulling Rio in a kayak, cycled 40km on an adaptive bike with a seat for her brother in the front, and ran 10km pushing him in a running chair.

The news was shared on Team Angle Wolf's social media accounts. Team Angle Wolf, a non-profit organisation created by parents Delphine and Nick Watson to make an inclusive world for their son, host monthly events, including Beach Blast, held at Fairmont The Palm, which allows people with or without disabilities to float in wheelchairs.

In their Instagram post, they mentioned, "Guinness World Record cut off time for the record was 3hrs 45mins. Race official time for Tia & Rio was 3hrs 39mins 37 secs."

Furthermore, the post read, "We sent the application & evidence to Guinness World Record, waited & now it’s confirmed; they are officially GUINNESS WORLD RECORD HOLDERS! Tia had this dream since she was 6; dreams can come true!"

At the age of 4, Rio was diagnosed with 1q44 deletion de novo syndrome, known to cause seizures, difficulty communicating, and several disabilities; despite all the challenges, he did it!

This story of their success makes us believe in dreams, and the hard work one puts in to chase them.
