Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Welcomes 3.3 Million Visitors

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque welcomed 3.3 million visitors during the first half of 2023.

Of the 3.3 million visitors, over 914,000 worshippers and 2.3 million tourists visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Out of the 2.3 million tourists, 1.6 million people visited the mosque and 704,028 individuals the centre and market. 

On 21 April, the mosque saw the highest number of worshippers in a day, with 63,919 people performing prayers, and during Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, 852,714 worshippers and tourists visited the mosque.

The mosque is also home to a 3 kilometre jogging track, where individuals can take in the stunning views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and during the first half of the year, around 32,000 people utilised the track.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has been ranked first in the region and fourth in the world, under 'Top Attractions' as part of TripAdvisor's 'Travelers' Choice Awards for 2022' for the Best of the Best Destinations.
