Temperatures Hit Highs Of 50ºC

Temperatures in the UAE have hit a new high for this year's summer at 50.1ºC this weekend.

The highest temperatures for two days in a row on Saturday, 15 July and Sunday, 16 July, at 50.1ºC were recorded in Bada Dafas in the Al Dhafra region, Abu Dhabi. 

This week, high temperatures will continue, with fair to partly cloudy weather predicted in the UAE, and humidity set to increase halfway through the week.

On Monday, 17 July, temperatures with highs of 42ºC in Abu Dhabi and 41ºC in Dubai are predicted, and lows of 30ºC in Abu Dhabi and 33ºC in Dubai. The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy. 

Temperatures with highs of 42ºC in Abu Dhabi and 44ºC in Dubai are expected on Tuesday, 18 July. Lows of 30ºC in Abu Dhabi and 31ºC in Dubai will be seen, with fair to partly cloudy weather continuing.

On Wednesday, 19 July, the weather will be humid in coastal areas, with mist forming in the mornings and fair to partly cloudy skies seen. Temperatures are predicted to hit highs of 42ºC in Abu Dhabi and 43ºC in Dubai, with lows of 32ºC in both cities.
