Father And Son Duo Cycle 3,000km Throughout June

The father and son duo of Nick and Rio from Team AngelWolf cycled 100km daily in Al Qudra, throughout the month of June. The completed challenge saw 3,000km cycled in the month over a total time of 140 hours.

The duo woke up at 2.15am daily to start cycling by 3am, where Nick pushed over 85 kgs daily, including Rio, for an average of 4 hours and 45 minutes every day.

As part of the #RideWithRio challenge, the distance travelled during the summer heat covers the time it would take to cycle from Dubai to Istanbul in Turkey.

The aim of the challenge was to motivate others to join in, as well as sponsor the 'WolfPack Impact Talks' by Team AngelWolf, where schools for free can hear from Nick on how the non-profit organisation was created and barriers faced to create more inclusive sports, and Rio's sister, Tia about her journey as an inclusive athlete and her Guinness World Record attempt with Rio.

Founded in 2014, Team AngelWolf was formed by parents Nick and Delphine, that wanted their son Rio, who has a rare chromosome disorder that affects few people around the world, with opportunities to participate in sports and overcome any challenges faced.
