Over 9 million passengers at Dubai International (DXB) have benefitted from using contactless smart gates at passport control.
The contactless system requires passengers to look at the green light at the smart gate, without needing to scan any documents, making the process easier without having to wait in line.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has also updated that during the first half of the year, 26 million passengers have travelled to DXB.
DXB is prepared to make travel easier for passengers through the contactless smart gates, in light of the busy travel during Eid Al Adha and summer break for children.
