The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has temporarily closed down two health centres in Abu Dhabi, due to several health violations.
The violations included non-compliance to safety measures, the use of expired materials and tools, and not following the standards and regulations set for medical waste disposal and the storage of blood units.
The temporary closure will permit the facilities to make the required changes to ensure the health of patients, and will hold further visits to ensure all the safety protocols are followed.
