The Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme, Aqdar, has held a meeting in Dubai to coordinate celebrations of the Safer Internet Day (SID) in the UAE to reflect the country's contribution towards global effors to increase online safety for internet users worldwide. The event takes place on Tuesday 7th February with a theme 'Be the change: Unite for a better internet'.
Last year, the UAE joined more than 100 countries worldwide in celebrating Safer Internet Day. The celebration promotes safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones especially among children and young people across the world.
