Tips & Toes, the ladies salon and spa, have created a new Jazz Lounge Spa, but before you girls get excited, this one is just for the boys! The Jazz Lounge Spa is a brand new, two-storey gents grooming complex that offers everything from nail care to facials, massages, Moroccan baths, Turkish baths and hair services. Both male and female technicians are on-hand and only the best quality products are used, including Pevonia (skincare), Morjana (Moroccan baths) and L’Oreal and Kerastase (haircare).
What’s involved?
I went for the Moroccan bath and express facial, but when I saw the barber shop, I also opted for a haircut. This was my first Moroccan bath, but luckily my technician was an experienced, native Moroccan, who made me feel very relaxed and helped me to fully indulge in the treatment. This was followed by the facial, which again was delivered by an experienced aesthetician, who used a combination of oils and techniques to help revive my skin. Finally I let Mohammed loose on my hair and asked him for something different. My wife loves it and thinks my hair cut actually makes me look younger - well done Mohammed!
What are the results?
This modern yet earthy spa, decorated with old school jazz icons and musical instruments, creates an ideal environment for men to relax and unwind. The staff are well-trained and the quality treatments are offered at very affordable prices - a great way to spend a chilled-out afternoon.
Cost
The 60-minute Classic Moroccan bath is only Dhs 220 and 20-minute express facial is Dhs 80. Haircut and blow dry is Dhs 75.
