My wedding is coming up this summer and to be honest, my hair is a bit of a disaster! I’ve been doing my colours in bits and have managed to end up with some of my natural colour (a dark blond), some quite brassy highlighted bits and some more honey toned darker blonde bits. I took some time out and went to visit the experts at Maria Dowling to see how they could help me.
What’s involved?
Carly was absolutely lovely, she went through my hair and had a good look then decided to blend the colour with my natural hair colour. So I was given a half head of highlights and a toner for the brassiness. I was then treated to a Kérastase Vita Ciment treatment for strengthening and repairing damaged hair, and an additional protein booster for thicker, healthier hair.
What are the results?
The whole process took about 3 hours and 30 minutes and I’m absolutely delighted with the results! The colour is blended in beautifully, the cut is light and bouncy and thanks to the treatment my hair looks in much better condition. Whether you are looking for a total overhaul, a different look or a fix to a hair disaster - this is the right salon!
How much?
Prices depend on your hair length. I have long hair and my full treatment was priced at Dhs 1,260 - which included half head of highlights Dhs 510, a Toner Dhs 200, cut & blow-dry Dhs 340 and a Kérastase treatment & Protein Booster Dhs 210.
