I’m often asked which treatments are best for getting rid of stubborn fatty deposits, and how to achieve a slimmer physique. So when I heard about SculpSure, the Revolutionary Body Contouring Procedure, I just had to try it out - all in the name of research of course!
SculpSure’s 25 minute sessions are a quick, non-surgical way to rid yourself of fatty areas. It is the world’s first FDA-cleared laser treatment, and works to eliminate the fat on the abdomen, thighs and other areas.
What’s involved?
My part was quite simple! After a consultation with the specialist who diagnosed the areas that I was struggling with, a belt with laser wands attached was strapped to me, and I lay back and relaxed.
The machine feels as if its blowing hot and cold and I experienced a slight tingling sensation. Initially I found it a little warm and asked for the strength to be turned down slightly. But all in all it was painless with no downtime.
The treatment works by raising the temperature of the fat cells, so it essentially damages the cells’ structural integrity. Then, over the next three months, the damaged cells are processed and naturally eliminated by the body’s lymphatic system. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise regime, it stops both the regeneration of the original fat cells, and the generation of new fat cells.
What are the results?
The results can be seen as quickly as six weeks, and optimal results are typically seen at 12 weeks.
