So much is happening, it really seems like even if we wanted to sit down and take a break, we can't otherwise we will miss out on all the great things there are to see and do.. November is very much a month of sport and activity, not just watching it, but also taking part. Top of the calendar is the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Now in it's 14th year, this sell out event is firmly established and a real treat for those lucky enough to have tickets. If taking part is your thing, then the 6th edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge is under way and on pages 46 and 47 we have found a range of things to help kit you out for all the fitness activities. Football fans, your time has come and the wait is over. As the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is set to get underway, we have pulled together a great list of fan zones and sports bars where you can gather with your friends and watch every single match. With a growing population of over 9 million people, the UAE is home to some very interesting people, one of them being Dr Demetrius Evriviades of King’s College Hospital London in Dubai. A former member of the British Royal Air Force and a leading plastic surgeon, Connector met Dr Demetrius to learn more about him and his work. Read our interview on pages 52 to 54 and find out how he helps improve the lives of injured soldiers, cancer survivors and his work as part of the team that supported education activist Malala Yousafzai. This is a bumper issue with loads more for you to take in, so sit back and enjoy at your leisure. Welcome CONNECTOR.AE Concord Tower, PO Box 126732, Dubai Media City, Dubai, 04 454 9826,
