One of the region’s largest indoor edutainment destinations, Modhesh World annually opens its doors to kids of all ages, in a relaxed and safe ambience, with the two-fold objective of entertaining and educating little minds.
Launched in 2000 by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, an agency of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Modhesh World has emerged as a top summer attraction for families, especially children of all ages and nationalities.
Modhesh World is the huge home of the sunny and cheerful cartoon character, Modhesh who makes surprise visits and goes on goodwill tours to malls, hospitals and schools to spread cheer and initiate a journey of endless fun, creativity and learning. Modhesh has been capturing the hearts and minds of both parents and children ever since being developed as a home-grown entertainment concept.
After marking 15 consecutive years of success with children, Modhesh World will see it’s biggest-ever edition this year, under the theme, ‘Every step is a new adventure’ from 9th July to 29th August. Located at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Modhesh World 2015 spans over 34,000 square metres, boasting 8 massive activity halls, each with its own thematic adventures and fun identities to entertain visitors of all age groups and cultural backgrounds.
Featuring the highest number of attractions for a themed destination of its kind in the region, Modhesh World will this year have five new highlights, namely: Fly Jump - where kids get to be fit the fun way, by bouncing off trampolines, in a dedicated premium space; X-Rider - a four-seater 5D motion theatre that promises all the chills and the thrills of virtual reality; Valkyrie - an exciting and simulative shooting competition between humans and zombies; Mirror Maze - a great way to explore the magic of reflections and be entertained by its strange and humorous versions; and The Slide, a fun way to spend time as a family with three slides designed for kids as well as adults.
Modhesh World also features exciting attractions such as Little Stars and popular children’s character Hello Kitty, Spiderman’s Web, Tarazina, and carousel rides. For the tiny tots, rides such as Clown Around are ideal.
Modhesh World 2015 will also organise many parades with Modhesh and his companions of clowns and jugglers, with kids being able to actively participate in them.
