Palladium presents the 15th annual Sharmila Dance Extravaganza featuring a wide range of dance styles including Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Afro Jazz, Raggaeton and Bollywood as well as acrobatics and singing. This exciting Extravaganza will take place at Centrepoint Theatre, DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates, April 24th and 25th at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

If you are a dance enthusiast or lover of performing arts, this show is guaranteed to have you at the edge of your seat! With fresh ideas and choreographies, each number will absolutely stir up your emotions and have you moving along to the hottest hits and old school classics.
Choreographer and Director, Sharmila Kamte opens the show with a piece that will take the audience back in time to the hardships of slavery around the 1700’s. This piece begins with the struggle of the people and their feelings of entrapment, and later evolves into their hopeful escape into freedom. The dancers in this number will take you on a rather emotional journey through their movement and performance. After many exciting and imaginative dances, the show will end with a Hip Hop number full of hype and energy performed by Sharmila’s team of professional dancers.
The Sharmila Dance Extravaganza is a professional showcase of the commitment, passion and talent of the Sharmila Dance School’s students and company of professional dancers. Dedicated to sharing the vitality and delight of dance as a form of art and sport, Sharmila Dance offers a range of classes and workshops throughout the year for students of all ages and levels.
