Drivers heading from the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai and vice-versa need to be cautious as the Al Badee Intersection is scheduled to be partially closed for three days for development work. According to a senior official with the ministry of infrastructure development, only one of the three-lane arterial road will be closed in both directions from 1am on Friday 17th March to 5am Sunday 19th March.
Eng. Ahmed Al Hammadi, manager of road department with the ministry, said all motorists should be extra careful, follow road signs, and observe speed limits. The move is in line with the ministry's strategy to adopt the latest international practices in terms of road projects to ensure high quality road networks, he pointed out. "This will boost transport across the country, and support our economic growth."
