This lifestyle event, with a focus on the latest food, fashion, and travel trends, is coming to Dubai this weekend all the way from LA. Expect to get exclusive access to the industry trendsetters, beauty enthusiasts, social media Influencers and prominent industry voices from Los Angeles and Dubai. Some of the leads from the fashion and lifestyle industry will be there including Haifa Addas, Founder and CEO of Instaglam.co, Gita Ghaemmaghami, Regional Communications Director at TIK TOK, Reya Mayur, Founder of Les Nereides Paris and more will be hosting panel discussions. The event will take place from 10am to 6pm. Desert Flower International Short Film Fest

Kick start your weekend with some artistic inspiration. It's time to support the local talent as The Junction at Alserkal Avenue is hosting the third edition of the Desert Flower International Short Film Fest, the platform which was founded by award-winning filmmaker Sucheta Phule for rising talent in the UAE to showcase their cinematic work.

The fest this Thursday will showcase four short movies produced by local directors. Phule will also host a panel discussion with the directors following the screenings. Tickets start from Dhs 50. The screening begins 7.30pm onwards.

Stand-Up Comedians Abish Mathew And Rohan Joshi 

Two funny humans from India are coming to Dubai this Thursday to spread their infectious humour and laughs across their audience. Bollywood Parks is set to host a very lively comedy show by Abish Mathew and Rohan Joshi. The audiences are sure to have a cracking time as the multi-talented comedy duo come together to present an evening full of laughter, witty one-liners and rib-tickling, candid humour. Taste Of Abu Dhabi

Taste of Abu Dhabi returns for its sixth edition at the du Arena, Yas Island and this year, it comes back bigger and better. Alongside some delicious food, celebrity chefs and live cooking demonstrations, for the first time ever, this year's event will feature two international bands, UB40 on Thursday 7 November and Boyzlife on Friday 8 November. Entry starts from Dhs 60.

The Addams Family

Even though Halloween weekend has been and gone, it does not stop us from watching the funniest and the spookiest film of the year, The Addams Family. The alternate cinema experience in Dubai, The Cinema Akil will be playing this movie for a week beginning this Thursday. The animated movie  is voiced by some of Hollywood’s finest including Charlize Theron (Morticia Addams), Chloe Moretz (Wednesday Addams) and Bette Midler (Grandma). The latest story revolves around the comical and creepy clan as they prepare for a visit from their relatives.

Punjabi Food Festival

Get ready to try some tempting flavours coming all the way from the kitchens of Punjabi to Dubai. For a few days over this weekend and running through to 15 November, Mughalai restaurant Purani Dilli, is hosting a special dinner menu. To create the most authentic experience, Purani Dilli has invited local chefs from North India to take over their kitchen and present a menu with mouthwatering delicacies from various parts of the region, including tomatar te dhaniye da shorba, murg shorba, kale channe de kebab, Amritsari machchi, sarson da saag, nali korma, lobster tawa masala and gucchi te mattar da kesari pulao, and much more.

Yoga Day Out

In collaboration with the ongoing Dubai Fitness Challenge, Global Village is hosting a free to attend yoga session. Popular active wear brand Lululemon ambassadors Allie McLaughlin and Neha Duseja, will be hosting two sessions between 8am and 11am. While yoga sessions are open to all aged above 15 years old, children can pay at the designated kids' gym area. Registration is a must.

Dubai Run

Are you set for the Dubai Run this weekend, where your track is going to be none other than the most buzzing Sheikh Zayed Road itself. You can choose from a distance of 5km and 10km and it is absolutely free to take part in this fun race. Registration is a must. The race will begin from an area near to Dubai World Trade Centre and will finish at the same point. For safety reasons, a part of Sheikh Zayed Road hosting the run will be restricted for motorists access from 6am till 10am.
