Global Village is back and better than ever! Our favourite multicultural festival park is reopening for its 23rd season. Global Village officially opens on Tuesday, 30 October, and will run for 159 days until 6 April 2019.
Here’s What’s New
- The Floating Market - As the first of its kind in the world, the Floating Market offers an authentic feeling street food experience through 38 outlets via boat.
- The Dancing Fountain - The dancing fountain also features the largest underwater screen in the world
- Wheel of World - The 60-metre high wheel features an enormous 50-metre LED screen
- Superloop stunt show - an epic stunt show featuring over 30 professional stuntmen
- Plus, an interactive Kids’ Theatre, a Circus Show and “Live Our Heritage” festival!

Saturday-Wednesday: 4pm - 12am
Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays: 4pm - 1am
Mondays: dedicated to families and women only
Using Public Transport
The venue can get a little packed up, especially during weekends. If you can, it’s advisable to use public transport to avoid traffic jams and finding parking. Route 102 will run from Rashidiya Metro Station and Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, both services will be running hourly and take you directly to the venue.
RTA will also re-run Route 103 that starts from Union Station, and Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Station; both services running every 30 minutes.
You can get to Global Village using one of these four routes for just Dhs10.
Global Village is located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road Exit 37. Gates open from Saturday to Wednesday from 4pm-12am, and until 1am on Thursdays, Fridays, and public holidays.
