Emirates To Mark UAE Journey To Space

Just a few days after the return home of the UAE’s first man in space, Hazzaa Al Mansouri, Emirates Airline has announce it will mark this milestone achievement by decking one of it’s A380 planes with special livery.

In a tweet the airline said, “We are proud to celebrate the UAE’s historic journey to space with a special livery on our flagship Airbus A380 that will soon take off to the skies.”

Hazzaa Al Mansouri took off on the 25 September on board the Soyuz MS-15 and spent 8 days in space on board the International Space Station, before returning to Earth on the 3 October and arriving back in Abu Dhabi on the 12 October to a hero's welcome, and received by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
