There is another opportunity for budding artists to showcase their talent to a wide audience and also stand a chance to win a cash prize at the same time.
The Waterfront Market and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority have joined forces for a second year and are inviting entries for their mural and art competition.
The competition will have two winners, a painter and a sculptor. The winning painter will get an opportunity to paint their winning work on a wall at The Waterfront Market and the winning sculpture will be memorialised in the hall for years to come, plus there will be cash prize of Dhs 15,000 each.
The entries for this competition are now open and will close on 17 October. All you need to do is submit your entry through www.waterfrontmarket.ae, and even after you have submitted your entry, if you feel you can do better, you can edit or resubmit your entry by 17 October.
The winners of the competitions will be announced on 1 November.
The Waterfront Market is located at the intersection of Al Khaleej Road and Abu Hail Streets in Deira.
