After the big announcement that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will make their UAE debut at Yas Island’s new indoor venue, The Arena, on 4 September as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, the second big announcement is now sweeping fans off their feet.
The second artist for Showdown Week has been confirmed and it's none other than Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin, who will play on 5 September.
The South American superstar Balvin topped the Global Top 50 on Spotify with hit ‘Mi Gente’. His other hits include the 2018 track ‘I Like It’. The artist has so far achieved more than 20 billion YouTube views.

The seven-day long Showdown Week will lead to the hard-hitting UFC 242 bout on 7th September, headlined by MMA heavyweights Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier.
