After a long refreshing Eid Al Adha break, are you already wondering when the next long weekend break might be? The good news is it may not be that far off.
The Islamic New Year, Hijri is expected to be on Saturday, 31 August, however as the date is subject to the moon sighting, the exact date will be announced closer to the occasion.
Although no holiday has been confirmed by the government, it is possible that there will be a holiday on Sunday, 1 September, making the possibility of another long weekend just a couple of weeks away.
After Al Hijri New Year, the next public holiday of the year will be for Commemoration Day and National Day, from Sunday, 1 December to Tuesday, 3 December giving us a five-day long weekend.
