Four More Names Announced For Dubai Walk Of Fame

Dubai will soon have its very own Walk of Fame, four times bigger that its Hollywood cousin, running along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai.

More than 10,000 celebrities around the world from different walks of life will be featured, and by October 2019, we will have the names of the first 400 stars who will grace the celebrity carpet on the opening event.

Some names have already been announced of who will feature on this new Dubai attraction, and these include football star Lionel Messi, cricket champion MS Dhoni, Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Gibran Kahlil Gibran and designer Elie Saab.

More names have just been announced that have also earned their star on the boulevard. The list now features movie star Jackie Chan, wrestler turned action hero The Rock, Korean boy band BTS and Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh, who have all been promised a place on the UAEs first Walk of Fame.

Following the announcement in March 2019, voting opened for the first 400 famous names to appear on the stellar walkway. Nominations closed at the end of May 2019 and celebrities from the worlds of music, film, art, architecture, sports, literature, social media influence, innovation and social work are now receiving their accolades.
