Special Public Transport Hours For Over Eid Announced

Commuters who use public transport can stay out a little longer during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays as the metro and other public transport services will be running until late, adding to the convenience of residents and holiday revellers. The changes announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will see metro stations on the Red and Green Lines operate until 2.00am until Saturday, 8 June, and the Dubai Tram will run until 1.00am from Saturday, 1 June to Friday, 7 June.

Metro stations
Red Line Operating Hours:

  • Monday 3 June to Thursday 6 June - 5.00am to 2.00am
  • Friday 7 June - 10.00am to 2.00 am
  • Saturday 8 June - 5.00am to 2.00 am

Green Line Operating Hours:

  • Monday 3 June to Thursday 6 June - 5.30am to 2.00am
  • Friday 7 June - 10.00am to 2.00am
  • Saturday 8 June - 5.30am to 2.00am

Dubai Tram Operating Hours:

  • Saturday 1 June to Thursday 6 June - 6.00am to 1.00am
  • Friday 7 June - 09.00am to 01.00am

Additionally, metro feeder bus stations at Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail, and Etisalat will be in service from 5.00am to 2.10am next week and the timing of the feeder bus service will be synchronised with metro timetables.

Public buses

Customer Happiness Centres
Customer Happiness Centres will be closed from Sunday 2 June to Saturday 8 June, and will reopen on Sunday 9 June. However, the Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool and at the RTA Head Office will be operating as usual 24/7.
