Ramadan Blue Donation Boxes Are Back

Have you spotted a big blue box inscribed with the message  ‘Share a Touch of Love’. You may have spotted them being set up across six different Dubai communities including Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Bay Avenue, Bay Square, Mudon Community Centre, Al Khail Gate Community Centre and Shorooq Community Centre.

If you have, then it is an opportunity for your to give back to society by donating your old and unwanted clothes. All you need to do is put all your clothes in a bag, and then put the bag into one of the boxes. It’s that simple.

The clothes will then be collected and washed before being distributed to those in need with the help of Emirates Red Crescent.

Dubai Retail company Dubai Holding and Unilever brands, Comfort and OMO, come together every year during Ramadan for ‘Share a Touch of Love’  donation campaign and is running it for ninth year this Ramadan.

The ‘Share a Touch of Love’ campaign collected around 200,000 items of clothing, contributing close to 25,000 male and female clothing items in 2018 alone.
