It’s going to be a busy week for travel at Dubai International Airport (DXB)! With a lot of people travelling for the holidays, there will be a surge of passengers travelling to and from Dubai. Emirates Airline is expecting 100,000 passengers to use the airport this weekend alone, with more than 30,000 passengers already scheduled to travel on Friday 14 December, making it the busiest day for departures.
Emirates are advising passengers to allow more time and to arrive at the airport 3 hours before their scheduled departure time.
it is not just this weekend that will be busy, a high number of travellers will continue throughout the month, peaking again on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 December.
