Did you notice the change on your mobile phone this morning? Well you are not the only one.
This time around, the network name has been changed and includes in its place ‘30 NOV’ to mark the UAE’s Commemoration Day which falls each year on 30 November.
As Commemoration Day this year falls on Friday, official events to mark the occasion will take place on Thursday, 29 November.
Etisalat, the network operator updated its Twitter status which said, “Celebrating #Martyr's Day and appreciating their great sacrifices, we are proud to change the name of our #30NOV network.”
