The UAE has claimed the second spot of the worlds safest countries to visit. Based on data from the World Economic Fund, the World Risk Report - major natural disaster statistics, the NHS Fit for Travel website - health risk statistics, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's (FCO) - terror attack risk levels, Which? Travel ranked 20 countries. Iceland has been named the number one.
The UAE has succeeded popular tourist destinations such as Thailand, France, Singapore and Italy. "Of the 20 holiday destinations that we looked at, Iceland, unsurprisingly, came out as the safest country," the magazine said. "The UAE and Singapore were also considered extremely safe, with Spain the next safest of the six popular European holiday destinations that we looked at.”
