It has officially been announced that UAE residents, both public and private sector will get a holiday on Sunday 18 November - this means that all employees will have that day off work.
The day off will result in a three-day weekend. The holiday is in celebration of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH.) Work will resume on Monday, November 19, as announced by the UAE Cabinet.
