The Mubadala World Tennis Championship is back in Abu Dhabi this year, kicking off on 27-29 December. The event has seen some huge names battling it out for the title and this year will be no exception. Joining 14-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, defending champion Kevin Anderson and 7-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams will be Dominic Thiem, Hyeon Chung and Karen Khachanov.
The event is held at the International Tennis Centre and will see Thiem, who debuted in Abu Dhabi last year, back again. Thiem said, “I can’t wait to return to Abu Dhabi this year. I especially enjoyed being involved with the kid’s clinics last year which was such a great feeling. I’m really looking forward to sharing my experiences with them again and playing in the Championship will help me get back into rhythm for the 2019 season.”
