A traffic accident on Sunday involving a truck, caused the death of one of its passengers and left the driver and a second passenger on board the truck injured.
The accident took place on Palm Jumeirah in the early hours of the morning, when the driver of the truck loaded with an excessive amount of goods lost control and veered off the road.
One passenger succumbed to injuries at the scene and the driver and second passenger sustained injuries, and were admitted to Rashid Hospital for treatment.
