Dubai Police always pulls out all the stops to help citizens. American tourist, Diane Marie Irwin had a nightmare of an experience when she lost her purse during her visit to the city - complete with all her travel documents!
Irwin began to panic and reported the bag as lost to the Dubai Police. A tourist patrol team retraced her steps, which, naturally, involved her being escorted in a Dubai Police limousine back to where she had been that day. From Burj Khalifa to Umm Suqeim beach and then to the Palm Jumeirah, The Dubai Police tirelessly searched for the purse.
Finally, they reached the Armani Hotel where they checked the lost and found. And, guess what? The purse was waiting for them and completely untouched. We just love a story that has a happy ending!
