On the occasion of the Al Hijri New Year, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, sent out congratulatory messages to kings, presidents and princes of Muslim and Arab countries wishing them all good health, progress and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also extended congratulatory messages to presidents, kings and princes of the Arab and Muslim countries to mark the occasion.
