It has officially been announced that private sectors holidays next week will commence on Thursday. All private sector employees will have the day off on Thursday 13 September with work resuming on Sunday. If you work Saturdays, you will resume on Saturday.
The holiday is in respect to the Hijri New Year which falls next week.
