Former North London Collegiate School Headmistress Receives OBE

Mrs. Bernice McCabe, former headmistress of the original North London Collegiate School in the UK has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. As the head of the NLCS for 20 years (1997-2017) McCabe lead the ship in maintaining the school's position as one of the most academically successful in the country. Mrs. McCabe, was designated Officer of the OBE by HRH The Prince of Wales in a function held at Buckingham Palace, London, Thursday, 7 June for her work in education.

As McCabe was a driving force behind bringing NLCS to Dubai, her achievement is a proud moment for all.

“We congratulate Mrs. McCabe on her appointment to the OBE. Mrs. McCabe played an integral role in bringing North London Collegiate School to Dubai, and has helped to spread high quality IB education to other parts of the world. We deeply value her contribution to children’s education, and we wish her all the best as she continues to spread happiness throughout her community" said Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of KHDA.
