The moon-sighting committee in the UAE has announced that tomorrow, Friday 15 June, will be the first day of Shawwal.
The committee, headed by Minister of Justice Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, confirmed that Friday is the first day of Shawwal, after using a number of agreed measures and also confirming with neighbouring countries, marking the first day of Eid Al Fitr in the UAE.
