It has been annouonced that Delhi Private School, Sharjah and Delhi Private School, Dubai are no longer a part of the Delhi Public School (DPS) Society, which is a popular Indian education trust.
Recently, DPS Society issued a public notice to announce that the two UAE schools “are not continuing on the basis of any legal relationship with the DPS Society”.
“This public notice is for information for all persons who are inquiring about this matter (with regard to the status of DPS Sharjah and DPS Dubai). The Delhi Public School Society, India, carries no responsibility whatsoever for actions of Delhi Private School, Sharjah and Delhi Private School, Dubai,” it added.
Around 220 schools are associated with DPS Society worldwide. The society was in talks with Gulf based schools with regards to re-negotiating the license fees.
No comment from either school has been made since this announcement.
