The Founding Father of the Nation is well known for his charity and humanitarian efforts such as supplying homes, food and medicines to those in need and much more. Hence, the name aptly describes the principles practiced by the late Founding Father of the Nation.
Between 1971 and 2004, the value of the late Sheikh Zayed's humanitarian and development aid reached Dhs 90.5 billion and benefited 117 countries.
State news agency WAM said, “Sheikh Zayed is a symbol of humanitarian giving, as his initiatives served the whole of humanity and reinforced the UAE’s role as a global model to follow,”
